Upcoming events

Family Promise – Can You Help?  St. Catharine is hosting families Feb 5-19

“Our” families are coming for two weeks in February and our Ministry Center will be their home for those two weeks. These are families that are part of the Family Promise network and are experiencing homelessness – something many of us can’t even fathom.  There are many volunteer opportunities!

To volunteer in any capacity, click here, and at the top of the page, click “Find Signups” and then enter psbiggs@optonline.net for the email of the creator.  Then enter the random code as directed.  All Family Promise volunteer signup openings will be listed. Sign up for one or more opportunities.  Not good with the computer but still want to sign up? Want more information?  Contact Pam Biggs at psbiggs@optonline.net or call 201-670-8760.

The weekend of January 21 & 22, a list of needed items will be posted in the narthex after all masses. Please stop by and see if you can help in providing one or two of the needed items or to get more information on Family Promise.

St. Catharine Church - Parish Anniversary Family Brunch

March For Life Pilgrimage to Washington, D.C.
Co-sponsored by St. Catharine, Our Lady of Mount Carmel & St. Elizabeth

All are invited to join the bus pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life on Friday, January 27th. We will join a peaceful march to support the right to life and to protest the U.S. Supreme Court's 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion. The cost is $50/person and includes morning coffee/bagels and a boxed lunch. The bus will depart St. Elizabeth's parking lot in Wyckoff immediately following their 6AM Mass. Please contact St. Elizabeth’s for more information or to register at 201-891-1122, ext. 200. First come, first served.

MOTHERS Anniversary Mass & Dinner Celebrating 24 Years!

Please join us on Wednesday, Jan. 25th for the MOTHERS Anniversary Mass & Dinner. This wonderful tradition gives us a moment to reflect on our lives, our faith, and motherhood. Mass will be celebrated at 7:30pm in the Ministry Center Chapel and will be followed by a catered dinner in the Holmes Rec. Building. The cost is $35. Checks payable to St. Catharine’s MOTHERS may be dropped off at the rectory. If you can’t make the whole evening, join us for just the mass or the dinner! Please contact Deirdre Tarrant at dmxtarrant@gmail.com or 201-625-2973 for more information.
